摘要註:	高齡化社會的腳步正快速地向我們邁進，而政府對於社區民眾參與社區活動也日趨重視。本研究主要是在探討中高齡族群實際參與社區活動的現況，藉此瞭解中高齡族對社區活動的參與動機、參與程度與效益之間的相關性。本研究採用問卷調查法，以南投縣南投市中高齡族群為研究對象。共發出300份問卷，回收有效問卷263份，有效問卷回收率87%為，再以SPSS 18進行資料處理與分析。獲得以下研究結果：（1）中高齡族群社區活動參與動機很強，其中以「社區認同」取向為最高。（2）中高齡族群社區活動參與程度為「中度參與」，其中以「涉入」層面為最高。（3）中高齡族群社區活動參與效益很高，其中以「社交效益」為最高。（4）社區活動參與動機、參與程度與效益會因背景變項不同而有所不同。（5）社區活動參與動機、參與程度與效益之間皆呈現中高度相關性。希望本研究結果能提供給中高齡族群及各社區相關單位參考。日後在活動規畫方面能提供多樣且豐富內容，藉此來提高中高齡族群的參與意願、參與頻率，以提升其生活品質及身心健康。

This research focuses on the current situation of the middle-aged and the elderly‘s actual involvement in the community activities for the purpose of understanding the correlation among the middle-aged and the elderly‘s motivation for the activities, levels of participation, and benefits of the involvement. Questionnaires were applied to take the middle-aged and the elderly in Nantou Town, Nantou County as the objects of study. 263 effective questionnaires were returned from 300 distributed, which presents a response rate of 87 percent. The data is processed and analyzed via SPSS version 18. Conclusions are gained below:（1）The middle-aged and the elderly have strong motivation towards community activities, and the orientation of "community identification" is the highest.（2）The degree of the middle-aged and the elderly’s participation is “moderate,” and the level of “involvement” is the highest.（3）The benefit of the middle-aged and the elderly’s participation is pretty high, and the “social benefit” is the highest.（4）The motivation to partake in the community activities, the degree of participation, and the benefit vary from background variable to background variable.（5）There is a high correlation among the motivation to partake in the community activities, the degree of participation, and the benefitIt is hoped that this research conclusion can be offered as a reference to the middle-aged and the elderly and various community associations. By providing diversified and abundant activities, those community associations can improve their willingness to participate and frequency of participation in order to promote their quality of life and mental and physical health.
