高齡社會的來臨，使得老化議題亦趨受重視，如何讓新世代與高齡者達到老少共融的氛圍，便成了一個重要的指標。從兒童時期開始實施老化教育更顯得重要，將老化教育融入國民小學課程中，以便儘早為兒童建立起完善的老化知識與態度。本研究旨在設計適合國民小學中高年級之老化教育教材以及了解其實施成效，首先蒐集老化教育相關資料，歸納統整後編修出適用於國民小學中高年級初步的老化教育教材，再以國小四、五、六年級為研究對象，實施老化教育學習前測問卷，並透過體驗教材、討論教學及學習後問卷，評估學生實施老化教育的教學成效。最後再透過讀者意見回饋問卷，由讀者親自體驗教材後之意見回饋，編修出適用於國民小學中高年級的老化教育教材。研究歸納結論如下：（1）國小中高年級學生缺乏正確的老化知識與態度；（2）老化教育教材實施後，可提升學生老化知識與態度；（3）教材內容編輯以圖畫呈現可促進學生學習動機；（4）多元的老化教育教材設計能提升學生學習興趣和成效；（5）小學教師進行在職老化教育培訓，以具備最新的老化知識與態度；（6）老化教育教材系統的編撰與師資培訓有其必要性。因此期盼此研究能做為老化教育教材編訂之參考，相關單位亦能積極推行學校老化教育。

The advent of aged society make the government draw more attention on the aging issue. How to make the new generation and the elderly to reach the atmosphere of aging, it has become an important indicator.Aging education should start early, integrate aging education into national elementary school curriculum in order to establish a well-established aging knowledge and attitude for children as soon as possible. Therefore, this study aims to design suitable aging teaching materials for elementary school students and to exam the effect of the teaching materials. First of all, the preliminary aging education materials are drafted. Secondly, the cognitive abilities of the respondents are evaluated with the pre-learning questionnaires. Then, it is followed by letting students experiencing the teaching materials and teaching methods to identify the potential demands for materials. Fourthly, post- learning questionnairesare used toevaluate the effectiveness of teaching. Finally, through recordingand analyzingthe satisfaction of pupils experiencing the teaching materials, some modifications of the teaching materials are made.The results are summarized below: (1) Kids in grade 4 to grade 6 lack the positive knowledge of and attitude toward aging. (2) After teaching, students’ knowledge of and attitudes toward aging issue are improved. (3) The teaching material with pictures can arose students’ interest in learning. (4) Various teaching materials can enhance student’slearning interest. (5) The government should hold more workshops on aging issue to improve teachers’ knowledge of aging. (6) The compilation of aging teaching materials and teacher training on aging issue is necessary.
