概要:	本研究旨在探討園藝治療活動對中高齡心智障礙者生理、心理、認知及社交層面影響之效益。選定南投縣某一心智障礙協會6位參與者，進行每週1次約90分鐘的園藝治療活動，為期八週。研究方法採單組前後測準實驗設計及園藝治療活動效益前、後測問卷評估研究對象在園藝治療活動之生理、心理、社交及認知等層面的影響。研究結果顯示透過園藝治療活動可以促進中高齡心智障礙者在生理、心理、認知及社交均有顯著的效益。

Six participants of the intellectual disabilities association in Nantou County were selected to carry out horticultural therapy activities about every ninety minutes of eight weeks. The methods were used to single group of the experimental design and the questionnaire of the effects of horticultural activities, assessing the impact of participants on the physiological, psychological, social and cognitive aspects of horticultural activities. The results show that through the horticultural therapy activities can promote the intellectual disabilities of middle age in the physical, psychological, cognitive and social have significant benefits.
