Summary:	在人口老化的高齡社會中，高齡者伴隨老化，常有急需就醫而使用消防救護車的情況。本研究旨在探討偏鄉地區高齡者使用消防救護車服務所獲得的效益。本研究以南投縣信義鄉為研究場域，採質性研究，以深度訪談的方式訪問3位65歲以上之高齡者。經由訪談結果得知，獲得以下研究結果：（1）大部分受訪者不知道如何正確使用消防救護車資源。（2）受訪者呼叫消防救護車的主要原因是方便就醫。（3）受訪者使用消防救護車後對醫療照護相關服務感到滿意，包括到院前獲得良好的院前緊急醫療救護照顧；到院後，能讓醫護人員即時給予適當的醫療協助；減少就醫時間；不需要額外付費，可以減輕就醫經濟上的負擔。值得一提的是，受訪者也非常滿意消防人員對他們得服務。本研究希望透過此研究結果讓各界重視偏鄉消防救護車緊急醫療服務情形，以在未來造福更多偏鄉地區的高齡者。

The purpose of this study was to explore the benefits of emergency ambulance services used by the elderly in Xinyi Township. Through the qualitative research of in-depth interviews with 5 older adults, the results were as follows:(1) Most interviewees did not know how to properly take advantage of the Emergemcy Medical Services on the fire ambulance.(2) The main reason to call for the fire ambulace was to conviently go to hospital for the interviewees.(3) Interviewees were satisfied with the related emergency medical services on the fire ambulamce, including pre-hospital Emergency Medical Services, taking proper and immediate care from doctors on arrival at the hospital, non-stop ambulance service without any charge which could reduce their economic burden. Moveover, they were satisfied with the fireman who took good care of them on the fire ambulance.According to the results of this study, it is hoped that emergency medical services for the elderly in remote areas could be much attended in the future.
