In order to cope with the demands of these exams,lessons are usually teacher一oriented, with teachers predominantlying Chinese to teach English Teachers do not have many opportunities to take in一service training courses, and this is especially truer primary and middle school teachers. Often the teachers have little knowledge of the latest developments in language teaching.Teachers learn their language teaching skills from their colleaguesnd more experienced teachers. Traditional practice and existing formats are followed, repeating the familiar and imitating what their "mentors" have done. |
