摘要註:	全球家庭結構變遷，家庭結構以小家庭為多，高齡獨居老人人口持續增加顯示獨居老人的問題已日益嚴重。許多年長者則獨自生活，長期在找不到生活目標、心情鬱悶的情況下，老人就很容易得到如憂鬱症等心理層面的問題，因此本研究採用了台灣簡明版世界衛生組織生活品質量表與短式憂鬱量表作為研究測量方向。本研究結果顯示，獨居老人的生活品質整體而言屬於中上程度，且教育程度愈高及健康狀況愈好，生活品質就愈好。獨居老人憂鬱狀況整體已達憂鬱診斷範圍，研究發現，年紀愈高及健康狀況不佳，則憂鬱狀況愈高。生活品質現況與憂鬱狀況為低度負相關，由此推論憂鬱狀況愈高，生活品質愈低。本研究研究結果作為政府推動獨居老人相關政策的參考。

This indicates that because of social changes of Taiwan, due to widespread social acceptance of institutional care is not high, many seniors are living alone, could not find long-term life goals, depressed mood of the situation, It is easy to get the elderlysuch as depression and other psychological problems, therefore, this study used a simple version of the Taiwan World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale and Short Depression Inventory as a research measurement direction. research shows, Overall quality of life of elderly people living alone in terms belong to the upper level and the higher the level of education and better health status, quality of life, the better. Elderly people living alone melancholy situation has reached a whole range of diagnosis of depression, the researchers found that the higher the age and poor health, the condition of depression higher. Quality of life and depression status status is low negative correlation between depression status corollary higher, the lower the quality of life.This study was to investigate the quality of life and depression alone status associated with the elderly, research as a result of government policies to promote elderly people living alone reference.
