The guide has been validated using results from a survey of employees. Feedback from the survey has been used to improve the guide. Results from the survey indicate that the guide is received very positively.
520 $a The guide itself in Appendix C has a solid theme of following a person who has just been diagnosed with diabetes and the journey ahead. It integrates the disease with the medical device, pharmaceutical and biological industries, all working on improving the quality of life of people who have diabetes. It also demonstrates how quality methodologies can be applied to designing and manufacturing products that meet the needs of diabetics.
