隔代教養家庭祖父母心路歷程之研究

摘要註:	國內社會變遷及家庭結構改變之際，使得隔代教養家庭日漸增多，隔代教養祖父母在生理上及心理上出現什麼樣的變化與挑戰，值得深入探討。本研究旨在探討隔代教養家庭祖父母之心路歷程。針對南投縣南中寮之學區，採用質性研究方法，研究過程以立意取樣四個隔代教養家庭且同為照顧者之祖父母為研究對象。綜合資料分析結果，本研究發現如下：首先，祖父母在承接教養的因素，除了子女的婚姻問題及工作關係之外，更深層的因素是承擔的使命感。祖父母承接教養責任時，必須面臨生理及心理問題，與未來不確定感的挑戰，而祖父及祖母所呈現出的心境卻是各有差異。另一方面，在面臨身心變化與長期承接教養責任的相互作用下，隔代教養祖父母的心路歷程，呈現出身心俱疲的現象。然而，祖父母在面對隔代教養問題時，會以主動解決、尋求支持、情緒調適與消極逃避作為因應的方式，因應方式的差異也影響著祖父母心路歷程的不同感受。最後，本研究也對隔代教養祖父母、教育實務工作者、政府及社會機構與未來研究上提出相關建議，期許隔代教養家庭之祖父母們在整個心路歷程也能獲得更正向的成就感。

What kind of changes thosegrandparents feel physically and emotionally, and what challenges they face are worthyof further investigation. The purpose of this study was to explore psychological process of the grandparents who have been raising their grandchildren. The study was through qualitative research method, and the subjects were the grandparents from four families in South Zhongliao in Nantou, who were responsible for raising their grandchildren. There are some findings as follows.First, despite of the fact that grandparents who need to take care of their grandchildren is some problems happened in their children`s marriage and work; the main intention for them to do the parenting job is a strong sense of responsibility toward domestic parenting. Next, the grandparents must face both mental and physical difficulties when they are taking the responsibility of raising their grandchildren, as well as the uncertain challenges in the future. These problems would cause different levels of pressure to male and female subjects respectively. On the other hand, to deal with the interaction between the mentality and long-term responsibility on parenting their grandchildren, the exhausted behavior occurs in both of our studying targets. However, when the dilemmas on parenting happened, there are various solutions that grandparents would adopt: facing the problem initiatively, looking for support, managing sentiments or just ignoring them passively. The diversity of solutions would affect the grandparents’ sensibility as well.Last, there will be some suggestions for the grandparents who have been raising grandchildren, the educators of children from grandparent families,government and community organizations which help children from grandparent families and people who will make study in the future: We expect that the grandparents from this kind of family could develop a sense of achievement more positively.
