摘要註:	因應高齡化社會的來臨，以及對社會參與的重視，並探討中高齡族群實際參與社區活動現況，本研究透過問卷調查法，以南投縣埔里鎮45歲以上中高齡族群為研究對象來了解中高齡族群對社區活動的參與動機、參與程度與效益之間的相關性。共發出400份問卷，回收有效問卷349份，有效問卷回收率87%，再以SPSS17.0進行資料處理與分析，獲得研究結果如下：（1）中高齡族群社區活動參與動機皆很強，尤其以「社區認同」取向為最高。（2）中高齡族群社區活動參與程度為「中度參與」，其中以「控制」層面為最低。（3）中高齡族群社區活動參與效益皆很高，當中以「社交效益」為最高。（4）社區活動參與動機、參與程度與效益會因背景變項不同而有所不同。（5）社區活動參與動機、參與程度與效益之間皆呈現中高度相關性。中高齡族群中舉凡參與動機、參與程度與效益，低齡者高於年長者且隨著教育程度愈高而增加、高收入者亦越高；已婚者且與配偶和子女居住者在參與動機上更為明顯。可見多樣性、豐富性的活動內容，能提高中高齡族群的參與意願、參與頻率，以提升中高齡族群的生活品質。

The return rate is 87%. The data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 version.Results were as follow:（1）The participation motivation of the elderly is strong. Particularly the "community Recognition" orientation is the highest.（2）The participation involvement of the elderly is "moderate", with the "controlled" level at the lowest.（3）The participation benefit of the elderly is very high, and as "social benefits" being the highest.（4）The motivation, involvement and benefit will vary depending on the background variables.（5）The motivation, involvement and benefit are highly correlated.The elderly with younger age, higher levels of education or higher income get higher motivation, involvement and benefit. The motivation of married elderly living with spouse and children are most obvious. As we can see, activities with diversity and richness can improve motivation and the frequency of eldely participation, which enhance the quality of life of elderly populations.
