摘要註:	面對高齡化社會的來臨，與高齡族群相關的專業領域與產業皆蓬勃而生。在這股銀髮浪潮席捲的趨勢之下，高齡者在身、心靈健康方面相關的議題也愈來愈受到重視。本研究旨在探討高齡者生命韌力之展現，並以生命回顧為架構，透過高齡者對過往生命事件的敘述與經驗的抒發，試圖從其生命歷程的發展脈絡中呈現出生命的韌度與張力，並重塑其人生的意義與價值；同時也探究高齡者於生命歷程中在生理、心理和社會層面所展現生命韌力之內涵。本研究對象為一位高齡83歲的女性長者，於民國38年正值青春年華時期因為大陸淪陷而離鄉背景，自此與家人分離，隻身隨國民政府來到台灣。研究者透過深入訪談與聆聽的方式，紀錄研究對象的一生，並以個案研究方法進行資料的整理，探究一位歷經生活困境與遭逢國難而勇敢面對命運挑戰的大時代的女性其堅毅奮鬥的精神與生存韌力之激發，以及安身立命的生命故事；並對高齡者生命韌力之展現作一剖析與印證。此外，根據研究結果，提出具體建議，以供教育、社會以及輔導諮商等從事相關領域的工作者或有志於心靈成長學習的人士作為輔導老人生涯規劃以及終身學習之參考。

Consequently, senior physical and mental health issues have gained much wider recognition by society at large. This paper aims to investigate the development of resilience in seniors by using the life of an octogenarian as the framework to understand how resilience and adaptation to life’s unexpected challenges help reshape one’s priorities and value system. This research also delves into the width and breadth of one’s resilience with implications that reach far beyond an individual’s physical and psychological wellbeing.The subject of this study is an 83-yeard old female born and raised in mainland China. At the age of 17, she was separated from her family during the Chinese Civil War in 1949 and ended up in Taiwan, where she eventually settled down, never seeing her family again for over 40 years. Through countless hours of in-depth interviews, the researcher recorded faithfully every detail of the subject’s life stories from childhood to the present time. This case study examines how a young girl survived poverty at home and the civil war in an unknown island with courage and perseverance. It demonstrates the development of resilience in a senior citizen through analysis and supportive evidence. In addition, based on the study results, the researcher has made recommendations regarding life-time planning and learning for seniors to educators, social workers, or anyone who plans to enter the counseling profession.
