摘要註:	日間照顧服務可使高齡長者不離開熟悉的環境，又兼具生理照顧、安全照顧及社交照顧，讓其安享晚年願景。本研究主旨在探討鄉鎮地區高齡族群對日間照顧服務的瞭解程度與需求，以鄉鎮地區高齡族群為研究樣本，發放問卷311份，其中有效問卷247份，回收率達79.4％。回收之有效問卷以相關分析、獨立樣本t檢定、One-Way ANOVA單因子變異數分析進行檢測。研究結果顯示：高齡族群普遍對日間照顧的認知程度不足，以大學（含專科）的瞭解程度較高。年齡與認知程度構面達到顯著正相關；年齡與生理需求構面之「我需要白天可以有人陪伴我」，達到顯著正相關。願意自付額金額與生理需求和安全需求構面達到顯著正相關。教育程度與認知程度及社交需求構面達到顯著正相關；與其他族群比較，教育程度國中的高齡者認為「規律運動，延緩退化」，有顯著的需求；教育程度國中的高齡者對「財務規劃與管理」，有顯著的興趣；教育程度高中職的高齡者對辦理「法律諮詢」，有顯著興趣。同住狀況對認知程度構面有顯著差異，獨居的高齡者對於日間照顧的瞭解程度較高；與其他族群比較，同住狀況獨居的高齡者對「財務規劃管理」、「法律諮詢活動」、「學習教育課程」等題項顯示有比較高的興趣；因此獨居的高齡族群對於日間照顧的認知程度及社交需求度較高。本研究提供日間照顧健康服務與課程安排，有助於高齡長者在地老化、安享天年。

The purposes of this study were to examine the day care services needs of the elderly population in Taiwan’s township areas, and to examine the extent to which the elderly understand the role of day care services. A survey questionnaire was designed and administered to 311 older people, of which 247 returned their questionnaires (response rate 79.4%). The statistical analyses, including correlation analysis, Independent-t test, and One-Way ANOVA analysis of variance, were conducted. The findings were as follows: 1) the understanding of day care services among the elderly was low; participants with college education degrees showed a better understanding of day care services; 2) age and education factors were positively correlated with the “understanding” scale and the “physiological needs” scale (need to be accompanied during daytime); 3) the factor of “willing to pay” was also significantly positively correlated with the “safety needs” scale and the “physiological needs” scale; 4) the education factor was positively correlated with the “social needs” scale; participants with junior high school education degrees tended to have a higher level of agreement in “exercise regularly will decrease the degeneration” and the interest in “financial planning and management.” On the other hand, participants with high school education degrees tended to show greater interest in the activity of “offering legal advice.” ; 5) the living arrangement factor was positively correlated with the “understanding” scale. Participants who live alone showed a better understanding of day care services. In addition, they also tended to show greater interest in “financial planning and management”, “offering legal advice”, and “offering different learning classes.” Therefore, elderly who live alone showed a higher degree of needs in “understanding day care services” and “social needs.” The results of the present study can provide care centers with reference sources in terms of offering services and class arrangements, which are believed to be helpful in promoting the elderly to live with dignity and to age in their own homes.
