摘要註:	2018年台灣邁入高齡社會，中高齡族群藉由參與地方廟宇活動尋求自我肯定與支持。本研究主要以問卷調查法探討南投縣水里鄉中高齡族群參與地方廟宇活動之參與動機、參與程度與參與效益之間的相關性。共發出 270 份問卷，回收有效問卷 250 份，再以 SPSS 22版進行資料處理與分析，研究結果發現：(1)中高齡族群地方廟宇活動參與動機為「中度參與」，其中以「生活需求」層面為最高;(2)中高齡族群地方廟宇活動參與程度為「中度參與」，其中以「控制」層面為最高;(3)中高齡族群地方廟宇活動參與效益為「中度參與」，其中以「生理效益」層面為最高;(4)地方廟宇活動參與動機、參與程度與參與效益會因背景變項不同而有所不同;(5)地方廟宇活動參與動機、參與效益之間呈現高度相關性。研究結果可提供地方廟宇負責人設計活動參考，提供更多元的地方廟宇活動，提升中高齡族群參與動機，獲得最大效益。

The research used the questionnaire survey procedure to study elder people who join activities at temples and understand the motivation why they want to join it, how many times they join it and the effective of the survey at Shuili Township in Nantou County. There are 270 pieces of surveys. The response rate was 250 questionnaires that were available. The data was processed and analyzed by SPSS 22. According to the results：(1)The elderly population have strong motivation to participate in temple activities, and the orientation of community identity is the highest.(2)The extent of the participate to the elderly population is moderate and the level of involvement is the highest.(3)The benefit of the participate to the elderly population in temple activities is very high, especially the social benefit which is the highest.(4)The motivation to participate in temple activities, extent of participation and benefit do vary due to the background variable.(5)There is a mid-high relation among temple participated motivation, the extent of participation and benefit.The research of this result provides the reference to the local temples. Meanwhile, it also provides multi activities to the temples. It improves the motivation to elder people and gain the maximum benefits.
