摘要註:	隨著時代的變遷，社會經濟的發展，家庭結構也日趨多樣化，隔代教養已變成家庭型態中的一種。許多文獻顯現隔代教養中，祖父母在教養孫子女會遇到許多不同的問題，若孫子女為特殊需求幼兒，祖父母需面對的考驗更是一大挑戰。本研究利用質性研究法中的敘事探究法來了解隔代教養家庭中，祖父母在教養特殊需求孫子女過程中，從如何接受與認知孫子女的特殊需求，到教養的過程中所遭遇的問題及祖父母面臨困境時，會如何尋求問題解決方法。透過半結構式的訪談問卷，針對三個隔代教養家庭中，孫子女領有身心障礙證明，並經過鑑定安置輔導委員會評估與鑑定，確認為特殊需求幼兒的祖父母進行訪談。從訪談資料彙整及分析中可以得知，祖父母對於自己孫子女的特殊需求認知大多來自於醫生的告知，資訊多為片面且不完整，無法深入了解每個特殊需求的差異性。在教養的過程中，會因孫子女的特殊需求及祖父母本身的身心狀況交互影響，但隨著照顧時間變長，在諸多摸索過程中逐步找到平衡點。祖父母在面臨教養困境時，除了向外尋求社會福利、醫療資源或是學校方面的協助外，也會利用自己的方式來調整及改善。藉由研究結果，希望提供社會福利及教育單位在協助祖父母教養特殊需求孫子女的過程中，不僅有益於祖父母的認知提升，更有助於落實教養問題的解決策略與建議。

Many literatures appear that in grandparenting, grandparents encounter many different problems in raising their grandchildren. If grandchildren are children with special needs, grandparents need to face a big challenge. This study uses the narrative inquiry method in the qualitative research method, to understand how do grandparents accept and recognize the special needs of grandchildren, and find solution to their problem in educating. Through the semi-structured interview questionnaire, three grandparenting families with grandchildren certificated as handicapped and identified by Committee Responsible for Identification and Placement as children with special needs were interviewed. From the data collected and analyzed, it can be known that the grandparents awareness of their grandchildren with special needs are mostly from the doctors notice. Their information is mostly one-sided and incomplete, unable to understand the difference of each special need. In the process of raising, the grandchildrens special needs and the grandparents’ physical and mental conditions will interact, but as time becomes longer, they can gradually find a balance. When grandparents face difficulties in raising, in addition to looking for social welfare, medical resources or school assistance, they can use their own methods to adjust and improve it. It is hoped that the results of this study provide the social welfare and educational institutions, when assisting grandparents with special needed grandchildren, not only the promotion of grandparents’ understanding, but also the solution and suggestions about raising.
