Summary:	本研究旨在探討高齡者參與日語課程之學習歷程，為達研究的目的，本研究採質性研究的立意取樣為原則，選取三位在彰化師大長青大學持續參與日語學習之55歲以上高齡者為研究對象，進行深度訪談。經由逐字稿的分析，獲得下列研究結論：（1）受訪者參與日語學習的動機主要是本身對於日語有濃厚的興趣、喜歡日本文化、結交好朋友、拓展人際關係以及活化大腦，延緩失智；（2）受訪者運用各種學習策略方法突破阻礙並持續日語學習；（3）高齡者學習日語過程所面臨的學習障礙為「記憶力退化」、「日文文法艱澀難懂」、「聽力退化」；（4）高齡者日語學習之成效為「大都滿意教師的教學方式與內容」、「自覺日語程度提升，也能學以致用」；（5）整而言之，高齡者參與日語課程之學習歷程讓其生命更美好，也提升其學習力。最後，本研究根據研究結論，針對對日語有興趣之高齡者、辦學機構、教學者以及後續研究者提出建議。

This study used a qualitative study of purposive sampling in principle to choose three older adults over 55 years-old who have been learning Japanese for a long time in the university. In-depth interviews and transcript record were used to collect materials and the results of the verbatim data were collated, analyzed and discussed. The following conclusions were as follows: （1）the motivation of respondents to participate in Japanese language class were their strong interest in Japanese language, expanding their social network, and hoping to delay dementia by activating brain; （2）the elderly used various learning strategies to break through learning obstacles and keep their motivation; （3）the obstacles faced by the elderly learning Japanese were the psychological aging of memorizing, understanding and hearing; (4)the achievements were "mostly satisfied with the teaching methods and content of teachers" and "consciously upgrading their Japanese as well as applying what they have learned";（5）the learning processes made the elderly gain better life experience and enhance learning capacity. Based on the above conclusions, some suggestions were made for the elderly, related educational institutions, teachers, and researchers.
