Summary:	隨著國內高齡人口快速老化，中高齡者的終身學習、健康與照顧等各方面問題顯得重要，然而，中高齡者面對角色轉換、家庭空巢期、兒女成家、家庭新成員的誕生及老化等相關議題，必需透過學習的管道來協助，面對退休後老年生活。「學習」，將是未來中高齡者相當重要的活動，也是活躍老化最佳途徑。本研究採問卷調查法，以南投縣地區45歲以上中高齡學習者為研究對象。旨在探討中高齡者終身學習動機與活躍老化之間是否有顯著的關係，研究結果發現：（1）中高齡者參與終身學習，以女性占多數73%，代表女性比男性更願意參加終身學習活動。（2）中高齡者學習動機與活躍老化在不同年齡、教育程度、經濟狀況、健康狀況有部分顯著差異。（3）中高齡者學習動機以「拓展知識」及「豐富晚年生活」層面表現良好，在「擴展人際關係」層面較弱。（4）中高齡者活躍老化以「生理健康」表現較好，「社會互動」層面稍弱。（5）中高齡者學習動機與活躍老化具有顯著正相關，以「豐富晚年生活」層面與活躍老化整體的相關最高。本研究結果提供給中高齡者及相關單位參考，未來在規劃終身學習活動能運用在地化的學習資源，透過多元學習管道，豐富學習內涵，期待老年生活更精彩。

Therefore, "learning" will be a very important activity for the middle-aged and senior in the future, and also the best way to actively aging. This study uses a questionnaire survey, taking middle-aged and senior learners over the age of 45 in Nantou County as subjects, to explore whether there is a significant relationship between life-long learning motivation and active aging. The results suggest that: (1) The middle-aged and senior participate in lifelong learning, with women accounting for a majority of 73%, which means women are more willing to participate in lifelong learning activities than men. (2) There are some significant differences between the middle-aged and senior in their learning motivation and active aging at different age, education level, economic status, and health status. (3) The learning motivation of the middle-aged and senior is good at the level of "expanding knowledge" and "enriching late life", while it is weak at the level of "expanding interpersonal relationships". (4) The middle-aged and senior are more active in aging with "physical health", but slightly weaker with "social interaction" level. (5) There is a significant positive correlation between their learning motivation and active aging. In addition, the level of "enriching late life" has the highest correlation. The results of this study can be reference providing for institutions in life-long learning activities in order to enrich the life of the seniors.
