摘要註:	目前世界主要國家的老人照護政策，均以在地老化（Aging in place）為最重要指導原則，認為人老了應該在原生的社區中自然老化，維持老人的自主、自尊以及隱私的生活品質。因此長期照顧需求高，如能使中高齡者再就業並擔任居家照顧服務員之工作，是緩解高齡社會照顧壓力對策之一。本研究旨在探討中高齡居家照顧服務員，在執行服務過程中所面臨到的工作壓力與因應。本研究採質性研究的立意取樣為原則，選取3位服務於中部地區，且年滿45歲以上之中高齡居家照顧服務員為研究參與者，透過深度訪談之彙整與分析，獲得以下研究結果：(1)受訪者選擇居家照顧服務員的工作動機為：工作就業門檻低、工作時間彈性、有被需要與成就感。(2)受訪者所遇到的工作壓力來源有：工作範疇的認知差距、體力不勝負荷、工作環境具隱藏性風險、與組織溝通不暢通、政策規範缺乏彈性。(3)受訪者面對工作壓力的調適：調整心態與接納，並換位思考、學習新技能與多休息、通報督導或終止個案、尋求同事的支持、轉念與接納。最後，研究者依據研究結果提出結論，並對相關人員、單位與後續研究者提出建議。

Therefore, the demand for long-term care is high. If middle-aged and elderly people can be re-employed and serve as home care workers, it is one of the countermeasures to alleviate the pressure of social care for the elderly. This study aims to explore the work pressure and adjustment faced by middle-aged and elderly home care workers. In this study, the principle of qualitative research is used based on the intentional sampling. Three middle-aged and elderly home care workers who serve the central region and are over 45 years old are selected as the research objects. Through in-depth interviews, the following research results were obtained after analysis of the content of the interviews: (1) Interviewee’s motivations for choosing home care service providers were: low barriers to employment, flexible working hours, and a sense of being needed and fulfilled. (2) The sources of work pressure encountered by the interviewees included: cognition gap in the scope of work, physical overload, hidden risks in the work environment, poor communication with the organization, and lack of flexibility in policies and regulations. (3) Interviewee’s adjustments to work pressure were: adjusting their mentality and acceptance, empathizing, learning new skills, taking more rest, reporting to supervision or terminating the case, seeking support from colleagues, and changing their minds to accept. Finally, the researcher made some suggestions for the related persons, organizations, and the follow-up researchers.
