摘要註:	本研究旨在探討三代同堂家庭的成因、三代同堂的利弊、祖輩在三代同堂家庭中與家人的關係、祖輩的幸福感、家人關係對祖輩幸福感的影響。本研究採質性個案研究，訪談三位三代同堂家庭中的祖輩。訪談內容經資料處理分析後，獲得以下之研究結果：（1）受訪者三代同堂的成因：子輩有意願同住、互相幫忙、家中有足夠的空間。（2）受訪者認為三代同堂的好處：祖輩有被需要的存在價值感、能互相照應、三代之間的互動更緊密；缺點則是：比較不自由、不方便及家中東西變多、空間變小。（3）受訪者在三代同堂家庭中的夫妻關係—緊密和諧、彼此協助；親子關係—用行動表達體貼與關心，從觀念的分歧到轉念尊重；祖孫關係—親密美好彼此滿足，給予陪伴與教導；婆媳關係—智慧相處。（4）受訪者認為幸福感是：被家人肯定、家人平安順遂與家人凝聚、家庭和樂。他們皆具有高度的幸福感，而且幸福感的來源都有孫輩。（5）受訪者家人關係對其幸福感的影響：親密的祖孫互動帶來滿足與喜樂、美好的家人關係產生之幸福感勝過物質生活的滿足、家人相愛與家庭和樂能提升幸福感。最後，本研究依據研究結果提出建議，作為未來有考慮想三代同堂者、教育機構和未來研究者之參考。

A qualitative research method was adopted in this study by interviewing three grandparents of three respective three-generation families. After processing and analyzing the content of the interviews, the following results were obtained: (1) The reasons for forming a three-generation family under one roof were that it was decided by the second generation, that there would be more helping hands by living together and that there was extra space for all three generation living together. (2) The interviewers believed that the benefits of three-generation family were the feeling that they were needed, the convenience of taking care one another, liveliness, cohesion and closer interaction with grandchildren. The disadvantages were lack of freedom, inconvenience, stocking up things and less space. (3) From the interviewers' perspectives, the marital relationship in a three-generation family was intimate, harmonious and helpful for each other. As for the parent-child relationship, parents and children actively expressed their consideration and care, and also their interaction changed from divergence in concepts to mutual respect. In addition, the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren was more intimate and satisfying. Last but not least, mom-in-laws and the daughter-in-laws got along with wisdom and less conflicts occurred. (4) The interviewers defined the sense of well-being as the sense of being affirmed by family members, safety, a sense of unity, and harmony. These provided them high level of sense of happiness. Having grandchildren was one of the main sources of well-being. (5) According to the interviewers, one of the effects from good family relationship was that it brought a sense of satisfaction from intimate interaction with grandchildren. Besides, the feeling of content from affectionate family relationship was way beyond that from materialism. Also, the loving and harmonious relationship among family members enhanced the sense of well-being. Lastly, the study results were made as suggestions for ones that considering having a three-generation family or as references for educational institutions and researchers in related fields.
