Summary:	本研究討論三位長照機構住民於機構造家（homemaking）的心路歷程。在文獻章節中討論了，從台灣的長照政策，長照機構現狀與家的意涵與造家理論，並提供了之後章節的理論基礎。這是一個長時間的研究，橫跨了三年的實際參與觀察與田野研究，並以個案討論的方式呈現個案在機構中如何融入與角色定位。在第四章開始討論「屋」的概念，主要是在討論空間對住民的影響，第五章討論「家」，主要是三個個案的心路歷程，從住民、家屬與機構，在「造家」這個議題上，分別做了什麼、扮演什麼樣的角色，讓住民、家屬與機構三項彼此之間相互作用，營造出一個「家」概念。

It also demonstrates the power relationship between the residences, the families, and the institution in the discussion of their homemaking journeys. Literature review chapter discusses the context from the perspective of the varied law of the long-term care services in the past 20 years, the current long-term care industry in Taiwan, and the theory of homemaking. This will be the foundation of the further discussion. This qualitative research lasts for 3 years, and the data is mainly collected by the researcher’s direct participation and observation and present it in the form of case studies. This research aims to explore the residences’ psychological, emotional and self-recognition shifting in regarding to the concept of home.
