摘要註:	我國65歲以上老年人口在西元1993年便已達到一百四十七萬二千人，佔總人口數的7.02%，已邁入高齡化社會；台灣每名婦女生育數已降至1.18人，以致造成生育率有如自由落體般直下，少子化之速度令人擔憂（行政院主計處，2006）。高齡化的社會，再加上「少子化」世代的來臨，促進銀髮族「身心健康，生活自立」。照顧的品質與人性化服務的需求將日益增加，照顧老人的責任已非家庭能獨力負擔。因此，為了降低社會照顧成本及人力負擔，世界各國開始應用電腦資訊技術，跨領域整合，積極推動高齡科技（Gerontechnology），並廣泛地在食、衣、住、行、休閒育樂方面運用科技發展成照顧輔具，及導入科技性輔具（Technical Aids）協助居家生活照顧或機構照護。本研究設計目的如下：考慮到老年人居家生活時，因記憶力衰退，使用爐火時，易造成危險，故希望能在危險發生前，及時提醒，以避免災難﹔運用科技輔具提供高齡者更健康的生活，往生活自立更進一步﹔延遲老年人需要被照護的時間，進而降低國家的財政負擔。

Aging society , coupled with the " low birth rate " coming generations and promote seniors ' mental and physical health , living self . " Demand for quality care and human services will be increasing the responsibility of caring for the elderly has been non- families can afford alone . Therefore, in order to reduce the burden of social care costs and manpower , the world began to use computer and information technology , interdisciplinary integration , and actively promote the Elderly Technology (gerontechnology), and extensively in the food, clothing, housing, transportation , leisure and recreational aspects of the use of scientific and technological development to take care aids , sex aids and imported technology (technical aids) to help care or institutional care home life . The study was designed with the following objectives : taking into account the elderly living at home , because of memory loss , the use of fire, and could easily lead to dangerous , so hope to be in front of danger, a timely reminder to avoid disaster ; using assistive technology to provide more elderly healthy life, to live self-sustaining further ; delay time to care for the elderly needs to be , thus reducing the financial burden on the state.
