摘要註:
本研究旨在瞭解當前隔代教養家庭形成之原因、祖孫對互動關係之自我詮釋、祖孫經常面臨之困擾問題與因應方式以及隔代教養家庭中祖孫對彼此之期待與建議。為深入瞭解受訪者的內心世界及主觀意識,本研究採質性研究之立意取樣與深度訪談法進行相關資料蒐集與分析。研究分析結果發現:(1)父母婚姻危機及複雜的兩性關係為隔代教養形成之主因;(2)祖輩帶孫意願高低與祖孫互動關係良寙呈現正相關;(3)祖孫自我詮釋互動關係在同儕交往、溝通、生活起居及心態等層面互有落差與衝突;(4)祖孫經常面臨之共同困擾問題為對交友定義之落差及溝通問題;祖輩另有經濟問題,孫輩另有學校適應問題;五、祖孫面對問題之因應方式偏向消極逃避,較少積極尋求改變;六、祖孫對彼此之期待:祖輩希望孫輩以課業為重、自我約束行為規範;孫輩則期盼與祖輩多加溝通、賦予自由。

The purpose of this study was to better understand the causes of the current formation of grandparenting family, the self-interpretations between the interactive relationship of grandparents and grandchildren, problems which grandparents and grandchildren usually faced, their solutions, expectations and suggestions between grandparents and grandchildren in the grandparent family. To better understand the inner world of the respondents and the subjective consciousness, the purposive sampling and in-depth interview of qualitative method are employed to do related data collections and analyses. Analysis results showed that: first, marital crisis and complicated gender relations are the main causes of the formation of the grandparenting family; Second, the grandchildren-raising will from grandparents and interactve relationship between grandparents and grandchildren are positively correlated; Third, there are mutual gaps and conflicts in the interaction of self-interpretation between grandparents and grandchildren in peer interaction, communication, daily life, mentality and so on; Fourth, problems which grandparents and grandchildren plagued together are the definition of friends-making and communication problems; however, grandparents have their own economic problems, grandchildren have their own school adaption problems; Fifth, the solutions toward hardship issues from grandparents and grandchildren are prone to be negative and they look for a change less actively; Sixth, expectations between grandparents and grandchildren: grandparents want their grandchildren to focus on the schoolwork, and discipline their behavioral norms; grandchildren hope to communicate with grandparents more and receive freedom from them.In this study, according to research findings, there are some related suggestions : first, the suggestions to the grandparents in the grandparenting family: participate in Singapore Action Group of Elders (SAGE) and intergenerational learning actively to understand grandchildren’s mental development and communication skills from the stages of growth to enhance the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren ; Second, as for grandchildren in the grandparenting family. 1.experience in a positive attitude or appreciate love and caring from grandparents; 2. take paticipation in career developmental counseling group actively to establish the life goal early; Third, as for the suggestions to the authorities concerned – 1. teachers or educational units: teachers in the school should take the initiative to strengthen parent-teacher communication to enhance understanding of grandparenting families and dismiss negative stereotypes of grandparenting families through understanding; 2. the government or the civilian institutions: combine social resources aggresively to provide the related assistance and arrange courses and qualified teachers of intergenerational learning in accordance with the grandchildren with all ages for grandparents and grandchildren ; Fourth, suggestions to future researchers: focus on the research of parents’ generations in the grandparenting families to understand deeply about grandparenting families.
