概要:	「真愛家庭，以愛傳家」，家在生活上有其存在的重要意義，延續傳家的方式，維持薪火相傳，世代不間斷，是中國人一生生存的使命。隨著老年人口的增加，資訊的發達，社會的進步，事業的多元，工作的專業，在「生命無常、必須有備」之觀念下，將我們生命中所呈現的與我們所擁有的一切，於有生之年提前規劃傳承給下一代，對其往後的人生更具生存意義。本研究目的在探討中高年族群世代傳承事項之規劃與重要程度，採問卷調查方式，以南投縣南投市、草屯鎮、中寮鄉300位中高齡者為對象調查，回收249份有效問卷，利用次數百分比、t考驗與單因子變異數分析，了解不同背景變項對於其規劃世代傳承事項與價值觀之間是否產生差異。研究結果顯示：不分男女性別，擁有世代傳承事項者分別規畫留給子女的為最多；對於世代傳承事項的價值重要程度，大致以能為後代子孫遮風避雨的房屋和賴以生活的土地為首要。依據研究結果：建議開發與規劃世代傳承事項服務相關之軟硬體系統，運用e化系統檢視個人生命中所擁有的一切並規劃傳承，以臻世代傳承的目的。

It is also the life’s mission of Chinese people to maintain family continuity. “Life is short, so be prepared!” This principle impels us to pass down family property while we still have the chance. With the increase in the elderly population, with advancements in information technology, with social progress, and with occupational and professional diversification, this mission has modernized. This thesis adopts survey methodology to investigate how Chinese people fulfill their life’s mission in the modern era, focusing on the middle-aged and elderly in west-central Taiwan, asking: Do property arrangement depends on family background? What values inform these arrangements? 300 surveys were sent out to middle-aged and elderly subjects from Nantou City, Caotun Township and Zhongliao Township; 249 surveys were returned. Frequency-percentage, t-test and One-Way ANOVA analysis was conducted. The results show that, irrespective of gender, those who have made arrangements for family property mostly pass it on to their children. As for the type of ‘generations passing down’ and the values informing the arrangement, parents mostly pass on land and domiciles so that children can have a home, a shelter against wind and weather.On the basis of these findings, a recommendation is made that e-systems be developed for people to take stock of their possessions and arrange to pass them down to the next generation, thereby keeping the 'generations passing down' in the family.
