摘要註:	面對平均餘命的提高，退休後生涯相對延長，教師自職場退休後，生活重心由以學校生活為主軸轉移成以處理家務、休閒時間安排、參與成長團體、宗教信仰活動或從事農耕等為主。由於生活型態的改變，讓教師退休的態度、退休生涯的規畫與退休生活適應關係密切；退休教師在計畫執行過程中，所面臨的改變及調適尤為重要。在《邁向高齡社會老人教育政策白皮書》中，所強調的四個願景：「達到高齡化社會終身學習、健康快樂、自主尊嚴、社會參與。」鼓勵銀髮族活到老、學到老，更應是退休教師生活追求的目標。因此，本研究目的為針對國中退休教師退休後的生活規劃、心靈歸屬、生活滿意度與心理、生理實際的需求，以及事前規劃和現在生活的適應情形深入瞭解與探討。並根據研究結果提出退休教師生活規劃、適應及生活滿意之建議，提供相關單位參考。有關單位不應泛政治化而汲汲於所得替代率等方面的計較，而是應該思考如何讓退休教師真正活化，並讓國中退休教師身心靈成長，再度找出生命價值，再現風華。本研究採用質性研究的深度訪談，根據參考文獻探討，擬定訪談內容，作為訪談依據。本研究訪談對象為在南投市退休的四名退休教師，包括退休校長、主任、組長及一般教師，針對退休前後的生涯規劃及身體、心理和社會三個構面深度訪談。了解教師退休前的理想與退休後現實狀況的差異，退休生活適應的影響及調適，及因應的生活取向。並將結果提供已退休教師之生活調適及未來教師退休前之規畫參考，以期退休教師都能達到成功老化之境。
